Vagabonds in the abandonned railway station ------------------------------------------- A group of tramps and vagabonds live in an abandonned railway station. This is a dismal building, crumbling and dirty, with about 20 tramps in it... They form a cult dedicated to the "ghost train". Everybody in this group is a member of a ceremony, daily, at midnight: they wait for the train (despite the fact that the rails interrupt themselves at about 50 meters from the station...). Their legend state that the ghost train will arrive at midnight, with an infernal brake creaking. Desperate people, the crippled, those who lost all hope, those who are dying from a terminal disease, will get into the train. For them, it is the promise of a new life... Their legends tells also that, sometimes, a vagabond returns, which got into the train years before. When he gets out of the train, he is utterly transformed. He is mighty, he has terrible powers, and nothing can stop him... Then, he can avenge any offense made to him during his life... To integrate this into a scenario: Player's characters may assist to a punitive action from such an hyper-violent super-tramp and follow their investigations to the vagabond's cult... GM's explanation: Does this train comes from inferno to take victims, and only allows people totally destroyed and transformed by their madness and their sorrow to get out from the train (i.e.: those who became Nepharites). Does anybody have a better explanation for all this?
