We have completely restores this car during '97 and '98 in our garage. The car arrived with the mechanical components 'rebuilt', but with the bodywork needing complete restoration and the upholstery non-existent. We have therefore entirely redone the bodywork, followed by a new paintwork in high-gloss black inside and out, giving the most beautiful finish. The trim was then completely restored, the headliner, seat frame chrome, seat upholstery, carpets, boot trim, etc...... Next the brakes, dampers, tyres and wheels were restored or replaced, the replacement of all the body seals, and fitment of mudflaps. Then, it was time to try the car out on the road, but first we had to completely rebuild the gearbox, due to an over-enthusiastic cleaning by a previous owner. It's now a car that is used frequently, even on long journeys, to the very great pleasure of its owner.
