Man has always yearned
to fly. As technology has progressed, he has sought to go further, faster and
higher. Concorde, the result of a join effort between Sud Aviation (future
Aérospatiale) and British Aircraft Corporation, is the answer to these desires.
Unique in the world, this supersonic jet is the stuff of dreams, but it is also
a technological reality which is still unsurpassed today: Concorde is the
unique commercial airplane which is capable of travelling from Paris to New
York in 3h 45min (faster than the sun!).
Thanks to all these
reasons, I have chosen to study this subject and to show why this plane is
incredible.
