Inner Trinity (9/?)

By Max Ikari

As Gendo sped through the quiet streets of Tokyo he kept thinking

what

he was going to do now. Aya's friends had betrayed him, so they were

no longer reliable, they were the enemy.

/Enemy? But Mr. Yohji was nice to me/

"Ran, you are too young to understand," said Gendo, "besides it is

better we got out of there."

/But what happens if Aya wakes up/

"He won't," said Gendo with an air of finality.

"Shit, shit, shit," said Ken who was in the front seat with Yohji, "

do you think he will get rid of the car."

"Most possibly," said Yohji not turning to look at Ken. They had

wasted precious time because Aya had slashed one of their tires. A

kind of childish trick but it served in delaying them from following

Aya.

"I am worried of Aya-kun driving in this state," said Omi looking at

Yohji from the back.

"I am worried he is carrying a gun and a katana in this state," said

Ken closing his eyes briefly.

Yohji didn't have anything to say. He felt guilty and he had

betrayed

Aya, but he knew this was for the best. The only thing that resulted

was an earlier confrontation. However, he was worried about Aya's

state of mind right now.

"There," said Omi pointing at a car in a parking lot.

"He got rid of it alright," said Ken, " maybe we shouldn't have said

anything."

The same thing all three of them were thinking. Yet, if they hadn't

said anything then Aya would keep on living with three different

personalities inside him. Sadly, all of them were Aya, just

personalities that he did not dare assume, like the playboy and the

child. Gendo on the other hand was a controller, more than Aya. He

was the brain of all of them and if Gendo was in control right now,

than it would take them a while to find Aya.

/What are we going to do? /

"We are going to disappear for a while," said Gendo turning the

corner

of the street. He had decided to walk; Yohji and the others would be

searching for stolen cars. Nonetheless he still wore a hat to cover

his red hair.

/We can always go visit one of my lovers/

"Like hell," said Gendo, " they'll want me to spread my legs like you

do."

/Hn, I am hurt/

"Like you are ever insulted," said Gendo smiling slightly.

/If we weren't in the same body I would sleep with you. /

" I am flattered," said Gendo quietly.

/Ryo, Aya-kun is waking up/

/I'll deal with him/

"Ok," said Gendo getting into the subway and deciding that they were

going to have to leave the city for a while. Maybe they would go to

Kyoto or Nagasaki. They could go get a job in a bank; Aya had always

wanted to follow in his father's steps.

/Ok, everything is fine, have you decided where we are going? /

"What sounds better Kyoto or Nagasaki?" said Gendo under his breath

so

people wouldn't hear him.

/Um, Nagasaki, hey little fella what do you think? /

/I wanna go where all of you are going/

/Like you have any choice, ha/

"So Nagasaki it is," said Gendo and decided to go to the train

station

and get to Nagasaki as soon as possible.

"Damn it Yohji!," said Ken obviously frustrated. They had been

searching for about three hours strait and had come up with nothing.

Of course, Kritiker had showed them how to disappear. "For all we

know he is on his way to London!."

"I know, but I don't think he will leave that fast," said Yohji

trying

to remain calm.

"Well he did leave rather fast when he pointed a gun to your face,"

mumbled Ken.

"Do you think he would go see his sister?" asked Omi quietly.

Yohji and Ken's eyes lighted. They had not thought about that.

"Where is his sister again?" asked Ken

"That won't work, she is in Spain an off campus trip," said Yohji

remembering that Aya had said that.

"Damn," said Omi under his breath, " Well now what?"

"We check train stations," said Yohji.

Gendo got on the train departing to Nagasaki; he had bought a book to

read in the meantime. However, he was nervous knowing that if he

didn't leave as soon as possible Yohji and the others would track him

here. Finally, he felt the train start to move and he relaxed.

/Tense, eh? /

"Shut up," said Gendo growing irritated of Ryo's constant teasing.

/When we get there, could I get laid? /

"Do hormones always control you?" asked Gendo while starting to open

the book

/Most of the time/

"Go to sleep and let me read for a while," said Gendo

/I guess I will, I do need my beauty sleep/

When Yohji, Ken, and Omi arrived at the train station, they just

stood

there looking, asking people if they had seen a red head. However,

they really doubted that anybody would have seen him, since Aya was

good at blending in. Two hours of asking the people paid of when one

girl said to have remembered someone with amethyst eyes.

"He was really quiet, but smiled at me and he had the oddest color of

eyes, purple," she said.

"Did you see him where he went?" asked Ken smiling at the girl.

"No, my friend got here at the time and I got distracted, but he did

get into a train," she said.

"Thanks a lot," said Ken smiling at her.

" You too are kind of cute," said the girl flirting with him.

"Um, thanks," said Ken walking toward Yohji, "Have you found

anything?"

"No, its like he just disappeared," said Yohji frustrated.

"It's because he is gone, a girl saw him get into a train about an

hour ago," said Ken rubbing his eyes, tired.

"Shit," said Yohji getting a cigarette out of his pocket, " well

let's

get Omi and head home, we will start later again."

"How are we going to find him if he is gone?" asked Ken

" I don't think he will do anything foolish but he will slip and we

will be there to catch it, let's give it a week," said Yohji.

"A week?!" asked Ken, " You've got to be kidding."

"We don't have the funds to start a search, let's do a mission to get

some money and then we start, about a week," said Yohji getting

angry.

He also wanted to find Aya.

"Well we have no choice, now do we?" asked Ken defeated.

"No," said Yohji regretting that he loved Aya, since he already

missed

him.
