Inner Trinity (11/?)

By Max Ikari

They traveled by night back to Tokyo. After Omi had knocked Aya out

with the dart they had gone to his apartment and packed some things

for him and get rid of telling evidence. They were actually

surprised

at how easily Aya had gone on with his life.

"He is still out, how much did you put in that dart Omi?" asked Ken

smiling.

" I was afraid he would wake up and disappear again," said Omi

looking

shamefaced.

" It's ok kiddo, don't worry about it," said Yohji smiling and

touching Omi in the shoulder.

" What are we going to do?" asked Omi quietly, " We can't take him

home with us."

"I know, we will have to put him in a hospital," said Yohji not

meeting Omi's eyes.

Omi and Ken understood only to well the pain this was going to cause

him.

"Get off me, let me go!," screamed Ryo as they were dragging him to

the doctor's room. He had regained consciousness about 5 minutes ago

and was acting crazy. "Please don't let them take me!"

Omi was waiting behind not daring to come any closer; he looked like

he was about to start crying. Ken put a comforting arm around him;

Yohji could not look at Aya thrasing like a wild beast.

"Please! Please don't!" screamed Ryo locking gazes with Yohji. Yohji

stepped up and put a hand reassuringly on his forehead.

"Shhh, Ryo it will all be ok,"' said Yohji trying not to seem

bothered

by the pleading eyes that looked up at him.

"Please, please don't let them take me Yohji, I promise, I promise I

will be good, I promise," said Ryo whispering at Yohji.

"I-I can't Ryo, I just can't," said Yohji quietly and the doctors

started dragging Ryo again.

"Noooo!, nooooo, she will take me to hell, I know she will, she will

take me to hell!!! screamed Ryo and the doctors locked the door while

they subdued him.

"Well, we have subdued him and he has been switching personalities

like turning on and off a light," said the doctor Tagashi

"So, what is going to happen to Aya-kun?" asked Omi quietly.

" We have to keep him here for observation, we have to determine the

catalyst that made his personalities emerge, sometimes some have them

for years but something triggers them. We have to find what acted

like the trigger for this," said the doctor Tagashi.

"Can we see him, is he going to be okay?" asked Ken white faced. Ken

had tried that he wasn't afraid for Aya but he was, you could see it

written on his face.

" You can see him but I really doubt you will get anything out of

him,

he is heavily sedated and we had to strap him, he was a risk to

himself," said doctor Tagashi, " please follow me."

The room was all white, padded walls like a nut.

thought Yohji

"I will give you guys time with him, if you need anybody we will be

right outside," said doctor Tagashi stepping out.

They were left in the room with Aya. Aya was strapped into the bed

by

his arms and legs, he had a blue sweat suit, pants and a v-necked

shirt, his face was pasty white and he was moaning. Maybe dreaming.

Omi gave a faint whimper behind Yohji. Yohji felt the exact same

way.

Ken was the first to approach the bed.

"Aya, Aya can you hear me?" asked Ken quietly, " he is to doped up."

"No shit," said Yohji angry. What in the hell had possessed him to

bring Aya here, he wouldn't know.

"Aya-kun?" said Omi brokenly. The boy was openly crying now, trying

to get any reaction from Aya by shaking him lightly.

Aya turned to see them but his eyes were not focusing. He looked at

them for about three second before his eyes rolled in their sockets.

"He's out," said Ken stroking Omi's back to stop him form crying.

"We

will go outside, come on Omi let's get you a drink."

"Poor Aya-kun," said Omi in between tears.

When Ken and Omi had left, Yohji kneeled beside Aya's bed taking

Aya's

fingers and kissing them lightly.

" I am so sorry, I hope one day you can forgive me," said Yohji

burying his face in Aya's chest. "You have to get better, better for

me. I can't live without you, I love you, please come back to me. I

can't deal with being alone again. Please."

"Ummm," moaned Aya and started mumbling something. Yohji leaned in

to

hear what Aya was saying.

"Hell…please…don't…please mama…please," mumbled Aya.

Tears started to

slip from Yohji's eyes. "Please Aya get better for me," said Yohji

and he leaned to kiss Aya on the lips.

Aya opened his eyes and stared at Yohji. " Aya?" asked Yohji hopeful

that Aya had regained some kind of consciousness. However, Aya's

eyes

closed again.

The next day Aya did not wake up. When Yohji asked why, the doctor

said that it was shock, Aya had retreated again. The three of them

stayed in the clinic most of the day but then the doctor told them to

go home, they could do nothing for Aya there. However, he said that

if something happened he would contact them as soon as possible.

When they were driving home Omi said, " I don't like the idea of

Aya-kun alone in that clinic. Those walls and tied to a bed are

bound

to make anybody crazy."

" I know," said Yohji gripping the steering wheel hard making his

knuckles white.

Ken had fallen asleep in the car. They stopped to pick up some

groceries and when they arrived home nobody was hungry so they all

went to bed. They slept the last two hours of the day and most of

the

next day, emotionally drained.

At around 5pm the phone rang, Omi who was up picked up.

"Ohayo, this is Omi," said Omi trying to put some cheer into his

voice.

" Tsukiyono, Omi? This is doctor Tagashi from the clinic," said the

voice on the line

"Doctor?" asked Omi becoming scared, what happened? " What's wrong

doctor? Is something wrong?"

" Could you please come by the clinic as quickly as possible?" said

doctor Tagashi.

Yohji did not remember the drive to the clinic; the only thing he

remembered was getting in the car and then nothing. He must have

been

driving on automatic pilot. When he arrived at the clinic, Yohji

basically jumped out of the car running into the building. Doctor

Tagashi was waiting for them.

"What's wrong?" asked Yohji a little out of breath.

"There seems to have been a problem while we were in therapy," said

doctor Tagashi.

"What kind of problem?" asked Ken seriously

"He is gone, he has retreated completely, I am sorry," said Doctor

Tagashi quietly.
