Lets Brits Share The Common Wealth
Revolutionary Search Portal that Pays Its Members to Surf the Web Opens in UK; Unique British Content Includes Universal Translator Capabilities

ORANGE, CA, USA-GoToWorld, (www.gotoworld.com), the million-member search portal that pays its members to search the Internet, today announced the launch of a unique version for the British audience. The new site, called GoToWorldUK (www.gotoworlduk.com), features many of the services and content of the original GoToWorld.com site, including its ability to automatically see foreign-language sites in English, plus a wide selection of new British-only content.

In just months, GoToWorld has become the fastest growing web portal in the world, thanks to its rich content and unique revenue-sharing arrangement. Users are paid by the hour while they are surfing the Web using the GoToWorld.com browser; in addition, each member earns a referral fee for each hour his or her referrals stay online. The referral system extends for three levels, with no limit on the total number of referrals possible.

GoToWorld.com's strategy has put it well within the Top 100 Most Visited Web sites, according to PC Data, the leading independent Internet research firm. With the launch of GoToWorldUK, the company is implementing its plans to become The Number One Search Portal for Planet Earth. "The launch of GoToWorld in the UK is just the beginning for us," said Ian Simpson, CEO and co-founder of LanguageForce, Inc., parent company of GoToWorld.com. "GoToWorld will be in five European countries in the next few months, with every member receiving the Universal Translator plug-in for free. For the first time, all of Europe will have the freedom to communicate universally without any language barriers," Simpson said.

Revolutionary Revenue Sharing

GoToWorld is able to pay its members because of an innovative advertising revenue sharing process. Advertising revenue is shared with users when they click on a pound sign at the upper right hand corner of the browser screen. The sign activates or deactivates banner ads, allowing members to "make money" or "stop making money" anytime they like. The banner ads never take up precious viewing space, because they are in the top upper bar of the browser.

Members are paid by check whenever their GoToWorld account exceeds a pre-set amount each month. By going to the Members Area, users can see their account balances or check the number of referrals credited to their referral group.

Advertisers are attracted to GoToWorld because of its ability to target consumer demographics. Unlike other browsers and portals, GoToWorld users are members who are encouraged to register their buying preferences. Most members do, since by doing so they make themselves more attractive to advertisers, thus increasing the site's ability to generate ad revenue and "browsing pay." The process results in a pre-qualified audience to which sponsoring companies can present highly specialized and relevant messages.

Unique British Content

In addition to original GoToWorld content and capabilities furnished by well-known providers Ask Jeeves, Accuweather and TravelNow, GoToWorldUK will feature UK-only content catering to the British audience. Initial providers include the following, with new services being added every day:

JobSite, a leading job listing service for the UK; MultiMap, a worldwide mapping service; eBid, the leading auction site for the UK audience; InfoSpace, a portal service providing UK Internet information and services, such as news, sports, business, and financial

New members to GoToWorldUK will be able to get their own free web page and GoToWorldUK email address through GoToWorldUK. They will also have the opportunity to get a free 30-minute phone card through content partner LivePhoneCard.

Other GoToWorld.com partners include: Alfy, a portal for kids ages 4-8; Fax4Free, offering free fax services; YNOT, providing free, animated online greeting cards; CleverMedia, a game site; and RestaurantRow, where users can learn about and share restaurant information.

Powerful Free Plug-Ins

The GoToWorld.com browser, which harnesses the power of Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 4 or 5, also gives members a full lineup of valuable free plug-ins, including:

Global Messenger Service, to send messages to anyone in their native language; Web Page Translator/Editor, providing simple translation in 11 major languages; Jukebox, for exploring world's latest and greatest recording artists in .mp3 format; GoToWorld Radio, covering 350 radio stations worldwide; GoToWorld TV, for viewing TV stations around the world; Voice Chat Translation Software, for real-time chatroom translation; Gatekeeper, an artificial agent which allows users to navigate without using a mouse; Universal Translator® software, currently available in English, Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian. The #1 Search Portal for Planet Earth™

"As big and as powerful as the Internet is today, it is going to experience a global explosion in the next couple of years," says LanguageForce's Simpson. "The English portion of the World Wide Web is diminishing. Within the next two years, English will represent only about 30% of all Web traffic and Web sites."

"We're convinced that GoToWorld.com's unique benefits and translation abilities are going to make it the number one search portal for Planet Earth," says Simpson.
