Réseaux des psychologues de l'environnement
Peu développée en France, la psychologie de l'environnement connaît un essor important au plan international, notamment à travers deux réseaux :
- L'I.A.P.S. (International Association for People-environnement Study)
The membership of IAPS is approximately 250 researchers and practitioners representing a variety of disciplines.
The largest proportion of members are architects, city and regional planners and psychologists, but what unites them all is an interest in interdisciplinary research and practice. The Association is open to members of any discipline or profession provided that they support the objective of the Association. IAPS is typically portrayed as a European association. While this is true to the extent that just under 60% of our membership are from Europe, a significant 40 % are from outside Europe. These are spread throughout the world as can be seen in the figure below, with 13% from North America, 9% from Western Asia and 8% from East Asia. These include Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Taipei. We currently have one member from mainland China – I hope as a consequence of EB2000 we can encourage some of the participants of this conference to join.
- REPALA (Red de Psicologia Ambiental LatinoAmérica) -
The general purpose of the network "repala" is to stimulate the contact among researchers & professionals of psychology and other areas of knowledge interested in the interchange of information and ideas related to psychological aspects of human-environmental inter-actions.
