Biographie :

Né le 31 décembre 1937 au Pays de Galles, Antony Hopkins suis des études. A 17 ans, il trouve sa vocation.Il étudie donc pendant 2 ans 1955 à 1957 ce qui va lui apporter la gloire. Il obtient ses premiers rôles en 1963, au théâtre (à Leicester tout d'abord, puis à Londres).
C'est en 1966 que débute pour lui un répertoire cinématographique qui ne va cesser de s'agrandir tout comme son talent.Son rôle le plus connu est bien sûr celui d'Hannibal dans "le silence des agneaux", il compte d'ailleurs tourner la suite pour 2001.
