COLLECTIVE OF ORGANIZATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS OF THE YOUNGS OF SOUTH-KIVU IN D.R.CONGO - COJESKI
1° Title of the project : THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE AFRICAN GREAT LAKES SUBREGION CRISIS.
2° Target : The Democratic Republic of Congo populations + 50.000.000
THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE is in pursuit of the social and political mutation in the Great Lakes subregion. The aim is to contribute in the Lusaka peace agreement implementation. The conference have a national, subregional and international scope for 50 millions of the populations in CONGO-KINSHASA, innocents victimes of hostilities in the country.
3° what is at stakes?
Since the accession of D.R.CONGO, RWANDA, URUNDI and BURUNDI to the International sovereignity, the youth forming 70% of subregion the population and the most active force of the Great Lakes society, lived under the division of the different ideological clivage and leading under the strampism slaveries of any nature.
During more three decenies the youth efforts keep on to be scattered in such a way the youngs did not participate neither for nor near, to the future of these country and all the whole subregion.
With the emergence of a mediocrity erected in government systems, thousands of youngs have been obliged to live in laxitism or koseness, in corruption of good-living in scrub, in the delinquence, in inter-ethnic conflicts in no-studying, ..., in sum, in a serial values shelf under consideration.
With movement of socio-politic mutaions, which is very strong in African Great Lakes region observed during this last deceny of 10th century, thousands of youngs have been swallod in hostilities where they don't come to overcome neither the starting now the ending.
Thousand of young have assisted involuntary, cautioned and participated to any possible forms of the massive obvisious and frequent violations of the humanity rights and of international humanitarian law.
So that, the D.R.CONGO, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya are affected. Their development process is desturbed in many ways as a result of the conflicts and war in D.R.CONGO and Rwanda genocide. The people of the subregion need peace and want to put an end to this conflicts in which the youth is involved. The youth movements and organizations may take responsibities and can take position in front of their political leaders in the subregion.
Development initiatives can succeed in putting an end to the conflicts and war, whenever ,any time, especially in Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda and D.R.CONGO were the youth are killed. This project expects positive results in several ways; the approach and the strategies, conflicts analysis and resolution, Human rigths and the democratic process in the subregion.

e) AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE
1. AIM : - To bring the Youth of the African Great Lakes Subregion in giving suggestions as to make responsible decisions in the idea of finding everlasting solutions to the conflict.
2. Objectives :
a) to promote permanent network of the African great lakes subregion youth organizations in term of the conflicts analysis and the peace solution.
b) to bring the youth message of the peace reconciliation and cohabitation between local communities and nations.
c) to prepare the youth to take responsibities in social, political, cultural views for the stability in the region
d) to make the population be aware of the human rights issues, individual freedom, equality, justice and democratic process in each country of the Great Lakes Subregion
e) to make the youth be aware of peace values in all aspects of the life;
f) to make an urgent network program for the share of the population witch is traumatized and to rehabilitate in the inter-cultural promotion exchange of the youth organizations in the subregion.
g) to involve the youth of the subregion countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Ruanda, Burundi, Uganda) in the search of the durable solutions in Congo DR conflicts.
h) to use network strategies in order to achieve peace in the region.
Conclusion
The African great lakes subregion is in deep crisis which at a point that the Kivu province in DR.CONGO is seriously affected because there is the spot of the army forces at multiple backgrounds and having powers outside of the country for instance in Uganda, Rwanda & Burundi.
In the new millenium the conflict may reach unexpected consequences; human rights violations, looting , killings and other atrocities. The futur of the youth is uncertain. That's why the present conference wants to be the favorable moment for :
