A probabilistic model of biological evolution
A
new interpretation of the darwinian natural selection is proposed and illustrated by three examples: mass extinctions (with the Dinosaurs death), fossiliferous Hominids sites and increase of PO2 PAL
1) The
mass extinction at the KT limit (with the Dinosaurs disappearance) and four other more significant ones (at the P/T, Ordovician/Silurian, late Devonian and final Trias limits), as the "cambrian explosion".
2) The
link between the fossiliferous Hominids sites and the iodine sources.
3) The watery and air respiratory systems appearance together with the
increase in the atmospheric oxygen rate.
The probabilistic model proposes a
neutral conception of the evolution, without a finalist a priori.
