ARCHIGUIDE est un guide d'architecture contemporaine en ligne gratuit et bénbévole qui offre, ville par ville, architecte par architecte, une sélection d’édifices contemporains à travers le monde pour une liste non exhaustive et un choix totalement subjectif. ARCHIGUIDE is a free and voluntary guide of contemporary architecture online who offers, city by city, architect by architect, a selection of contemporary buildings all around the world for a nonexhaustive list and a completely subjective choice.

    Passionné d'architecture contemporaine (étant moi-même architecte, diplômé en 2001 et travaillant aujourd'hui dans une agence parisienne), j'ai réalisé ce site pour tous les amateurs d'architecture, étudiants, architectes, ...  Sa réalisation est partie de l'organisation de mes propres données (glanées un peu partout) pour organiser mes propres visites de villes. Mis en page et interactif, il permet à tout un chacun de profiter gratuitement de ma base de donnée. Étant gourmand d'architecture, j'ai décidé d'élargir mes recherches et d'internationaliser le site. En effet, aucun site aussi ambitieux et pratique (et en français!) n'existe sur l'architecture contemporaine. Passioned of contemporary architecture (being myself architect, graduate in 2001 and working today in a parisian agency), I carried out this site for all the amateurs of architecture, students, architects, ... Its realization left the organization of my own data (recovered a little everywhere) to organize my own visits of cities. Put on page and interactive, it allows all one each one to benefit free from my database. Being greedy of architecture, I decided to widen my search and to internationalize the site. Indeed, any so ambitious and practical site (and in French) does not exist on the contemporary architecture.

     Vous êtes plus de 650.000 visiteurs à avoir déjà visité le site (actuellement 2000 par jour). Devant les records d'affluence, en fin de mois, je dépasse les quotas de bande passante accordés par mon hébergeur. Un site miroir existe donc pour ces quelques jours de fin de mois à la même adresse (www.archi-guide.com) mais ne permet pas l'accès aux graffs, à mes projets et surtout aux photos de France. In front of the records of multitude, at the end of the month, I exceed the quotas of band-width granted by my shelterer. A mirror site thus exists for these few days of end of month at the same address (www.archi-guide.com) but does not give access to the graffs, my projects and especially to the photos of France.

La quasi totalité des photos présentes sur ARCHIGUIDE ont été prises par moi-même au cours de mes déplacements et voyages. Sur les autres photos, le nom de l'architecte remplace le "A R C H I G U I D E GUIDE architecture" habituel. Ceci étant, je ne possède pas le droit à l'image, propriété de l'architecte. Toutes personnes (architectes ou propriétaires) ne désirant pas que l'adresse ou la photo d'un bâtiment apparaisse sur le site est priée de me le faire savoir. C'est évidement une solution que je ne souhaite envisager qu'en dernier recours. Mon site me semble être un outil de promotion de l'architecture contemporaine et je ne dégage aucun profit pécunier en proposant à tout un chacun de découvrir l'architecture contemporaine près de chez lui ou lors de ses voyages. Most of the photos present on ARCHIGUIDE were taken by myself during my displacements and voyages. On the other photos, the name of the architect is written on the photo. This being, I do not have the right to the image, property of the architect. All people (architects or owners) not wishing that the address or the photograph of a building appears on the site is requested to let me know it. It is cavity a solution which I wish to consider only as a last resort. My Web site seems to me being a tool for promotion of the contemporary architecture and I do not release any profit by proposing at all one each one to discover the contemporary architecture close to at his place or at the time of his voyages.
