Asic Inside With the origin, Asic Inside was to be Slide Show using of the images converted via PI1-Convert (images having for origin ST) and "doubling" the resolution of mode 0. The decision was finally made: the first demonstration multipart for CPC+ will use this name and some of the images initially envisaged will slip between the shares. This demonstration is has present good advanced and contains parts with new effects on machines 8 bits. Project ANA: new OS for CPC It is an update of OS of the CPC by the introduction of a modular system of management of the peripherals (as under AmigaOS or Unix). Thanks to this cores 100% "system friendly" the CPC will be able to use the new peripherals (Extension RAM, CPC-ISACard (hard Disks, Modem, cards its, Cd-rom, etc…), A4 scanner, reader ZIP, Virtual Net, etc…) in a transparent and fast way! Moreover, one module in particular dedicated to the CPC+ will make it possible to replace advantageously the BASIC of Logon System. This one will be available in version ROM and disk but version ROM more than is recommended unless having enormously RAM! For more details or to take part in the project contact OffseT.On a purely informative basis here a description of the project ANA (file rtf) very largely out-of-date but which will give you an idea of the philosophy of the project. Soundtracker DMA Software of music realized by Zik exclusively for CPC+. This one makes it possible to use the new sound functionalities offered on the CPC+ thanks to the three programmable DMA. The Driver is made (that which plays the musics), and it sends 25 to 1000 values a second (Soundtracker 50 only) with emulation of sounds SID (sounds standard Commodore C64). It is also possible to play of the samples in addition to the sounds FM or SID. Just like Soundtrakker, one has 5 halts out of 6 for a music with 500Hz (instead of 50) with or without samples. The sounds FM are defined by 256 steps in the envelopes of volume and dial tone and 32 steps in the envelopes of white vibration. Of course all the traditional options of the trackers are present (Arpegio, Portemento, etc…) and this for sounds FM and SID! The options are for the moment more reduced for the management of the samples but a broad evolution is planned for the next version! The sounds FM of the 3 channels are managed by only one DMA what leaves two of free of them; a its SID or a sample takes an additional DMA. It is thus for example possible to play at the same time a its FM, a its SID and a sample or a its FM and two samples. Stormlord + It is about a remake of not less famous Stormlod for CPC+. The play is almost completed and its output is imminent! It does not remain any more that some tables to be published, the music to be finished (it is signed Zik on Soundtracker DMA). Of Return of Darkness This play is ready! Finally almost… it does not have any more a graphic designer. The code is finished. Friends graphic designers, nimbly annoy OffseT: hundreds of CPCistes await this head of work! It would be nevertheless damage to lose all that. It is about a play of Adventure with analyzer of syntax being held in a world of heroic fantasy. There is nearly 70 different places and they are decorated by ten original musics! |
