Image tiles are grouped in thumbnails, a thumbail is not the actual image, rather an image that has been 'resized' for browsing purposes. To get the background tile image, click on the thumbnail. A new browser window will open, showing the actual image tiled. Right click on the background in the new browser window, and 'save the image to your computer'. I strongly suggest making a text file using Notepad (paste the link code into Notepad), and saving it in the same folder you download the tiles.

I made the tiles, but it's up to you to make them look good when on a page. If you make a triple tile page, please choose your colors and tiles wisely. Here are a few tips on things you can do with the tiles.

• Be creative with the triple tile code, not all three sections need to be tiles, one image can be tiled while the other two tables are solid colors. Make the center a solid color, or very light pattern. Most of these tiles cannot hold text, some of them can. A knowledge of table code helps.
• Need to change the color hues or add texture? Sure! Just don't use the changed one in a collection, and still give a link back to Texas Rose Graphics, if you are going to use the tiles as a base for image making.
• Want to use them in your paint program to make calling cards or signatures? Sure! You can put your cards in a collection, but give a link back with to Texas Rose Graphics on the page or pages you used to make the images and a link on your main page.
• You can use them in any image making, like stationary making, floodfills etc, just link back to Texas Rose Graphics on each page the graphics are used, and a link on your main page. The only collection these tiles cannot be used in is, a 'tiles' collection or 'backgrounds' collection. Other image making collections are fine, just converse with me thru email first if you think what you have in mind falls into a grey area. Just ask, worse I can say is no.
• When I made these tiles I kept Victorian, Country and Men in mind. There are some wonderful images on the net for these groups, but when searching for a background tile it can be difficult. One reason these tiles were created. I'd say 70% of the tiles fall into one of these groups, the rest is misc.
• Want to mix one of these tiles with another tile not from this collection? Sure! Do whatever you have to do to get a good blend on your triple tabled web page. Just be sure to give credit links here and credit links to the other artist, please be careful not to give the other author credit for these tiles.
• Want a tile as a single background? Sure! Stop and think about the text on your page first... you may have to put all your text in tables with a solid fill background. This could look quite nice if done correctly, so go ahead and give it a try. Some of the tiles will hold text, so it's up to your artist eye to see what works with what tile.
• Remember to link back to http://www.chez.com/jeannie on your main page, and the pages the tiles are used, please do not 'bury' the link.

Copy and paste the code below into a text file (Best to make a project folder for your new web page. Put the tiles, text file with link back code, and text file with the triple table code in this file. Paste the code into the text file, and save the text file (Notepad), into your project folder for your new page. The code below starts a brand new page, just fill in your content, and add your tiles.

(This code is not for beginners, try to have some understanding of html and tables first, otherwise you may be lost. The best route for a beginner is to use a single tile as a background, and to practice inserting tables for text. If you've never made a web page, the code below may seem to confusing for you. It's better suited for intermediate or advanced use.)
