As Susan Costello (Madchen Amick), the head of public relations at a major department store, is preparing for the holiday season, a young shopper at the store is bitten by an unusually aggressive rat. Susan quickly learns that this is no lone rat, but a member of a massive colony that dwells in the tunnels below the store. Desperate, Susan enlists the help of skilled exterminator, Jack Carver (Vincent Spano), the only man who has enough experience to handle a colony this huge. Carver finds himself faced with a seemingly indestructible species of rats that he must stop from infesting and attacking the residents of New York City. Time is running out – and Susan and Jack must race to uncover the source of their aggression and save the city and themselves from these terrifying predators.
