This is a beautiful group of fish. They are generally deep-bodied fish with long dorsal and anal fins. They are brightly colored and good reef inhabitants. They are peaceful, but shy. They should not be kept with aggressive eaters, as they will often be chased away from feeding. They are usually expensive and even a little difficult to keep and care for. Special care should be made when introducing them to a new tank and when choosing tank-mates. They are not good starter fish.
