C'est le 1er juin 1999 à Modene qu'a eut lieu le concert au profit
comme toujours à la fondation des enfants victimes de la guerre. Cette année
(le 8eme concert), l'argent revint aux enfants du Kosovo et du Guatémala. Il
y avait entre 15 000 et 20 000 présentes.
Mariah qui trouve la voix de Pavarotti impressionante à été honoré quand il l'a
invité. Avec lui, elle chante "Hero" dans une magnifique robe rose. Seule, elle chante
"My all" dans une robe noire, puis à la fin, avec tous les autres artistes
"We are the world". "Pavarotti & Friends" est passé la 23 janvier sur TF1 vers
1 h du matin.
