8 musicians who make up the Septeto NABORI.


The musicians:

Brought up on the rhythms of Cuban music influenced by Santiago de Cuba's deep rooted tradition for keeping its culture alive. They have continued to preserve the most authentic of Cuban music, especially "The son", but at the same time, through their original arrangements and improvisations have evolved their unique style. The quality of their natural talent has been nurtured not only by the old "Soneros"of Santiago but also by the music schools they have graduated from, as well as the personal experience each has acquired over the few years. The group was formed in 1993.


Naborí's music:

The Septeto Naborí have a rich diverse musical repertoire which includes, sones, montunos, guarachas, guajiras, congas, cha-cha-cha by cubas's greatest composers, these include María Teresa Vera, Miguel Matamoros and Rafael Ortiz.
We have also new composers in the group like Abel and Alejandro Morcate.

Stage Performance:

The Group Naborí offers a rare celebration of authentic cuban music and in its stage performance the groups really comes alive and the quality fully appreciated. It is further enhanced by the carisma of the lead vocalist Tony Rodón and the baby player Abel Delgado.
