The Cast of Friends Pledges Platonic Love.

The cast members of Friends are very close in real life, but they've made a pact to ensure that none of them ever gets too close, if you know what we mean. David Schwimmer, who plays the nebbish Ross, revealed the Friends' unusual agreement to the New York Post. "We have made a verbal agreement that nothing is going to cross the friendship boundary," he said. The cast was apparently so concerned that on-the-set romances could spell trouble for the top-rated series that they all agreed that it would be hands-off. Of course, when you're spending fifteen-plus hours a day with the same good-looking people, things tend to happen. "Sure, we're tempted," says Matthew Perry, who was recently linked with Julia Roberts. "The three girls on our show are very good-looking--but we have a deal!" Some of the Friends are already involved with people outside the show, including Schwimmer (he's hot and heavy with actress Natalie Imbruglia), Lisa Kudrow (she was recently married), and Jennifer Aniston (she's involved with actor Tate Donovan). But Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Perry are all very single at the moment, and since the show is expected to run for at least three more years, there's still plenty of time for them to yield to temptation.
