 INTER MILAN          2 - 1           LAZIO ROMA
for Inter Milan : Ronaldo(6'), Simeone(22')
for Lazio : Marchegiani(75')
This game has not been a great one since after 22 minutes Inter had already scored his 2 goals, one
by Ronaldo and the other by Simeone after a missed penalty of Ronaldo.
After that, Inter only defended his goals, Lazio scoring thanks to hos goalie who
came in the opponent's surface for a corner

MILAN AC                 1 - 1              BOLOGNE
for Milan AC : Weah(7')
for Bologne : Nervo(55')
2 red cards for Milan AC, that is all you have to remember about this game. George Weah
failing to score a penalty  at the 94th minute. Maldini, due to his red card will be missing
Milan for his next game.

FIORENTINA            1 - 4            NAPOLI
for Napoli : Ayala(11', 69'), Calderon(53', 85'),
for Fiorentina : Colacchione(59')
This game was a great one by Ayala. He almost did everything in th napolitan team, scoring,
defending... Napoli after this great game will be the first leader of this championship.
Batistuta, without scoring, and losing the game, was elected without any good reason best
player of the game.

PARME                        3 - 3             JUVENTUS
for Parma : Chiesa(11', 91'), Cannavaro(44')
for Juventus : Del Piero(24'), Zidane(50', 70')
That number of goals in a match is great ! Both teams should have won but luck
stayed on both sides and if Zinedine Zidane did a great job, scoring 2 goals, the turinian
defense was really poor and Chiesa scored at the last minute allowing a draw.

AS ROMA                   1 - 3            SAMPDORIA
for Roma : Cesar Gomez(61')
for Sampdoria : Veron(24', 43'), Klinsmann(89')
This game was not really  won by the Samp but instead lost by the poor roman defense. They
afford 2 penalties to Klinsman who even missed one. Veron allowed us a 2 goals due to his
great headgame. Sampdoria did a great result, and hopes to take the lead next day.

AUXERRE                1 - 1             PARIS-SG
for Auxerre : Guivarch(29')
for PSG : Rai(78')
This game was at least a win for Paris who was one of the two teams to have a good result away.
After that, it was not a great game. Auxerre scored at the beginning due to a doubtfull penalty
given by the friendly referee. Auxerre and Paris had no real actions after that. Hopefully
Paris got a penalty at the end, pushing and pushing and could have won in the offtime if
the auxerian defense had not been that great.

GUINGAMP             5 - 3               MONACO
for Guingamp : Bancarel(13', 63'), Rouxel(27'), Tasfaout(49'), Corridon(92')
for Monaco : Djetou(34'), N'Doram(70'), Benarbia(73')
Both teams had made offensive choices at the beginning which allowed us to see a great game
in Guingamp. The Roudourou was full of spectators. Bancarel did a great job, scoring two goals
with only two balls in his feet. Monaco did his best to avoid taking two much goals but
Barthez was not in a great day.

METZ                           2 - 1             BORDEAUX
for Metz : Blanchart(22'), Lukic(57')
for Bordeaux : Jemmali(82')
Both teams were playing really agressive and we saw a lot of faults. But the referee was really bad
and only gave a red card to Jemmali. Metz scored the first and it was then impossible for Bordeaux to come back. At the end of the game, Jemmali save the honour of Bordeaux with a goal.

NANTES                    3 - 0                 LYON
for Nantes : Ferri(34'), N'Diaye(72'), Carotti(85')
This game was not that easy for Nantes. Ferri scored the first goal in this game at the 34th minute.
Then Nantes continued to push, Lyon did not get any action. But Lyon succeeded in
defending until the 72th minute. Then everything was said. Nantes did a very great game and merits
the fact to be the first leader of the league.

LENS                           2 - 2                MARSEILLE
for Lens : Drobnjak(11', 44')
for Marseille : Makelele(18'), L.Blanc(65')
This game was very tied and the draw is a good result for both teams. Drobnjak showed in only two occasions that he
was one of the best scorers in France. Marseille showed that they had a lot of heart to come back to score twice in the game.

Rumors of Transfers

Some ambassadors from the FC Metz came to Auxerre yesterday to watch the parisian player Leonardo. David Blondeau,
manager of the Paris-SG declared nothing has happened and Leonardo will stay in Paris.

The FC Metz had also deep contacts with the Napoli. An exchange of players might happen soon. Our spy told us it might be
Sbrizzo from Napoli and Kachloul from Metz.

The FC Metz, again, who seems very active at the beginning of this season, seems really interested in the Glasgow Rangers
player Brian Laudrup. The transfer might happen very soon since the offer is really great.

En Avant Guingamp who won his first match scoring 5 goals seems to be interested in reinforcing his weakness : Attack !
The player form Corinthians Edmundo who recently did a try in Parma seems to be the player they need. Some say the
transfer will happen in few days.

Inter Milan sent envoyees yesterday to try to engage the free goalkeeper Bernard Lama.
They meet also envoyees from Guingamp who seem to want to sell there offensive midfield Abdelhafid Tasfaout.

Interview : Jérémie Lefebvre, Manager of Guingamp
Reporter : My question might be a little bit spying, but which tactic did you choose to score so many goals ?
J. Lefebvre : No, I do not want to have secrets and in fact it is not one. I played 4-3-3. The trick is that I tried to play
with no lateral midfields at all but two wing players. This was a little bit dangerous since Monaco had a lot of actions, but hopefully Bancarel was really successfull.
Reporter : You play your next game in Nantes, and ...
J. Lefebvre : Yes, and it will be very difficult, Nantes leads our league and did a great game against Lyon. The problem is that they do not have any key-player and danger comes from everywhere, as you can see with the scorers of last game.
Reporter : And will you use the same tactic ?
J. Lefebvre : I wonder...
Reporter : Thanks !
