For or since ? Present perfect simple or continuous ?

Combine the two sentences using the present perfect( simple or continuous) and "for" or "since".

1. They started waiting 30 minutes ago.
They are still waiting.

2. She became a doctor last year.
She is still a doctor.

3. He started going to this restaurant 5 years ago.
He still goes to this restaurant.

4. I bought a dog in 1995. 
I still have a dog.

5. Fred arrived at 6 o'clock.
He's still here.

6. Alice fell ill at Christmas.
She is still ill.

7. The shop opened this morning.
It's still open.

8. He went to Paris a week ago.
He's still in Paris.

9. He started watching T.V. an hour ago.
He's still watching T.V.

10. He finished school in June.
He's still looking for a job.
