For the first time in Sinhala, a book on Paul Cézanne (1839-1906), the famous French painter who is also honoured as the father of modern art is launched. This provides the reader with a comprehensive guide to the life and works of this fascinating personality. No art student or art amater can ignore studying this revolutionary post-impressionist who foresaw almost every art movement developped in the 20th century. This, without any doubt, is a major contribution to the field of art in Sri Lanka.
