At the age of 19 year Mr. Deuba
began his political carrier and he had served 9 years in
Jail because of political ideology. Deuba was the founder
member of Nepal student union, Sister organization of Nepali
Congress in 1970 and he was President of far-western student
Committee Kathmandu at 1965-68. Served as coordinator of
political Advisory Committee of Nepali Congress in
1982-1986. During the peoples movement in 1990 he desribed
necessity of democracy in Nepal in western democratic
countries and collected Pressure on restoration of democracy
in Nepal. served as home minister in first elected cabinet
lead by Girija Prasad Koirala after restoration of
democracy. After midterm general election of 2051 BS Mr.
Deuba elected leader of parliamentary Party of Nepal
congress and appointed as the Primeminister in 2052 Bhadra.
then he served 18 months as Prime minister of NC-RPP
collusion government.

Land Reforms and Management in the Cabinet led by Girija
Prasad Koirala. Wagle stood to the post of Nepali Congress
President (1995) and lost to Girija Prasad Koirala.
