NEW GOVERNEMENT SINCE JANUARY 24, 2001

Prime Minister-Designate Zoran Djindjic announced that his government would act quickly, efficiently, and in a democratically transparent way.

Djindjic proposed a government line-up comprising 7 Deputy Prime Ministers and 16 ministers.

The Deputy Prime Ministers are Zarko Korac, Nebojsa Covic, Dusan Mihajlovic*, Jozef Kasa, Momcilo Perisic, Aleksandar Pravdic and Vuk Obradovic.

 

- Minister of Finance and Economy : Bozidar Djelic

- Minister of Energy and Mining : Goran Novakovic

- Minister of Religious Affairs : Vojislav Milanovic

- Minister of Foreign Trade : Goran Pitic

- Minister of Economic Restructuring and Privatization : Aleksandar Vlahovic

- Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications : Marija Raseta Vukosavljevic

- Minister of Sports and Education : Gaso Knezevic

- Minister of Social Policy : Gordana Matkovic

- Minister of Science and Technology : Dragan Domazet

- Minister of Construction : Dragoslav Sumarac

- Minister of Health : Obren Joksimovic

- Minister of Culture : Branislav Lecic

- Minister of Justice : Vladan Batic

- Minister of Labour and Employment : Dragan Milovanovic

- Minister of Agriculture : Dragan Veselinov

- Minister of Trade and Tourism : Slobodan Milosavljevic
