Introduction

I'm working on the Hyper conservation,on the latent light, in expectation, hidden, waiting to emerge, in gestation.

My photographs are about to become.

They evolve in intermediate state, at the border of visibility, between loss and birth.
Pictures in gestation, impalpable, without stand, in instance of transmission.

Pictures which hesitate to see, to be deliver.

I'm playing with paradox of photographic light. It hides and it's hidden. It lights up and blinds. It shows itself and destroy itself. As it illuminates, it delivers, shows itself to the life and burns. The object lighted is visible but give to itself an invisible, it hides its other side. The light is particle, matter, basic, nutritious, transparency.

The accumulation of transparency create darkness.

I accentuate the conservation of photography by freezing it to make it more fragile.
A new ice edge, this one of the photographic pictures. A cryogeny of photographic pictures to fight against time, to make people thinking that these pictures are done for eternity.

But the loss is unavoidable.

The pictures becomes organic, matter, dust. Then alive, destructured, changeable.
My photographic iceblock are in precarious states of hibernation. The iceblocks conserve as well as affect the images. They destroy its structure. The access to the view, the access to the life, the release from ice, cause the dcline of the photographs, its loss, its death.
