Equipment - we provide the truck with tools and spare parts, tent, mattresses, full range of cooking equipment, eating utensils, cod base, fare grill, disinfectant, water purifier, medical kit, games to pass the time, books, radio, etc… You just have to take your backpack with you, personal equipment and sleeping bag.

Food - a kitty, run by the group and the tour staff, around £70 a week, will cover all food costs, local guides, campsite fees and whatever highlight of group accord.

Accomodation - most of the nights will be spent under the stars, close to nature. When in towns we'll sleep in local hotels (don't expect luxury) or with some families. Remember this trip is to discover Africa far away from the tourist trail.

Once on the road everyone gets involved with the day to day running of the trip. That means when we stop on a spot for the night, to light the camp fire, to set the tents, to cook…. We'll share all the adventure, the best, but also the rest… So a mutual respect (as respect for locals and environment), a good sense of adaptability and humour, and a desire to discover, are all necessary to create a positive input to the group and a successful trip. To be part of a small motivated group, not more than 6 or 8 people, gives us the chance to meet more people and go almost wherever we want. Discover Africa… worth it!
