About the photographer
Marilyn has expressed herself through photgraphy since 1994. When not capturing images that appeal to her during her travels that lead down to the sea, she focuses on the sights and scenes around her in Gatineau Park, along the shores of the Ottawa River, or in her own garden. Everywhere she searches through her lens for those magic moments, moods and memories she wants to preserve from the passage of time.
She has won several awards in photography competitions, notably the Alcan Grand Prize in the 1998 competition La nature du Québec en images, a First Prize in Popular Photography magazine's annual context (1999) and a First Prize in Canadian Geographic's annual contest (2000).
